I have been studying and painting all my life which includes classes in Australia, Europe and the United States. I am a graduate of Albion College. I have taught school in Royal Oak, Birmingham and Detroit. I am teaching art in Arizona, in Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and Sun Lakes. The classes are in pastel, watercolor, and mixed media. My own art is in same mediums plus oil, and acrylic. I am a contemporary artist; I paint just about everything, landscapes, people, animals, flowers. My art leans toward the interpretive but it is not modern art. I let the subject matter talk to me, it guides my hand. It is true I love color and you will see it in all my work.

I have been juried into Scottsdale’s School of Art Show, Dueo’s Symphony Gallery in Mesa, Gammage Theater at ASU University. Art in the Park Melbourne Australia, BRAC Gallery in Seneca, SC. And Sedona Chamber of Commerce.

I have painted for fund raising at the Phoenix Zoo Paint Out and the Annual Spring Paint Out at the Desert Botanical Gardens. I painted 5’x7” oil for Neighbors Who Care that honors levels of charitable giving. I was one of 12 chosen to paint Street Art for Chandler Chamber of Commerce, a 7’2” fiberglass Ostrich; sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, I gave him the name “Butterfield.” The one woman Shows I have had are Robson Library Sun Lakes, and the Northern Trust Bank, and Oakwood Club House.

My paintings are hanging in offices, shops, and private homes in Australia, Canada, Belgium, and Mexico.

Corporate hanging of my art:  Remnant Health Center, Grand Canyon Family Medicine, Apex Chiropractic, El Taptios, Zepher internet Café, Country Cottage Café.

My art was featured at Art On Boston Gallery, Old Town Chandler, AZ.
